The caption on the above photo lists John Oakley as the eldest, however census records prove this is incorrect. John Oakley had to be the baby in Mollie's lap, who appears to be about a year old. This dates the photo as taken approximately late 1895.

One of these young men is John Oakley Baker, son of Cas & Mollie.

Caswell S. BAKER, son of John C. Baker and Margaret LAYMAN, was born abt 1853 in Sevier Co TN. He and his brother, John Calvin Baker, migrated to Texas in the 1870's. Cas settled in Liberty Hill. He married Mary I. "Mollie" MILLER, daughter of A.J. Miller and Nancy "Nannie" RUSSELL. In the 1880 census on the LDS site for Liberty Hill, Williamson Co TX, his name is listed as "Sasell" Baker. His brother John C. is in the household.
