She is listed as a widow.
Albert is supposedly buried in Blanco Co. near what is now Johnson City, TX. and Julia is buried in Oakhill Cemetery in Travis Co. TX., but headstones have not been found.

Died during in the Civil War in Arkansas.
Served with Col. Edward Clark's 14th Regt of Texas Infantry.
Bartlett joined in Upshur Co., along with his cousins, John Thomas Collier,and Iverson Collier, sons of Thomas Collier and Susanah Pinson. They were enrolled by W.L. Coppedge at Coffeyville.
There was no battle involving this unit in Dec. 1862, so I assume Bartlett died of illness or in an accident. He drove a supply wagon, according to his military record.

All information on James DeMarcus and his descendants from the files of Coy Alma Collier Jett and Orlette Irene Collier Shroyer and shared with me by Jo Chumley Collier.

James DeMarcus Collier and his daughter, Priscilla, along with Littleberry Iverson and Mattie Jane Collier, J. D.'s father and mother, moved from Mississippi to Texas in 1878 (probably to Upshur County, TX.).
Priscilla died in Comanche County in 1879. J. D. met and married Julia Vann and they lived in Comanche County until early 1891 when they moved to Cedar Hill Community in western Coke County, TX. Their oldest child was born in East Texas and the second born at Cedar Hill where the family moved in 1891. They lived in a dug-out in the side of Cedar Hill for approximately five years.
By 1896 he had built a house for the family and during that year he bought the post office and store at Edith and moved the house nearby. They lived there until 1906 when they bought a store a Robert Lee and moved there. J. D. built a new house in Robert Lee and the youngest child was born in that house in 1911. That year the store at Robert Lee was sold as was the Edith store and he moved to Bronte and bought the general merchandise store. The family lived there about four years and moved back to the house on the farm/ranch in western Coke County near Edith. In approximately 1926 J. D. and Julia moved from Coke County to San Angelo, Tom Green County, TX where they resided the rest of their lives.
